Any reason why the 2 pin connector at the DC jack can't be spaced at 0.100" ? Everything else looks really good. Wish you had room for 0.1" grid holes, but not likely!
I will ask once again on behalf of myself and Bill Henning ... can you add a hole for a "pin 5" connected to 3.3v on the Prop Plug position to accommodate my P1 and Bill's SerPLug ???
otherwise ... lookin' awesome
cheers ... BBR
I like that idea.
Board looks good Nick !
Why did you remove the power indicators?
Space?
Can you get away with one power indicator for total power ?
It looks Like I may have to upgrade my com device.
Yeah, I pulled off the extra power indicators to make space for the RTC stuff.
Got the 3.3v in there. I like having the 3.3v on the programming key - that's a good idea.
@wba - it's spaced at 200 mils for a screw terminal, so at least it's 'on-grid'. Of course, you can always tap into Vin, V50, and V33 on either set of pin headers.
@rayman - I wanted to keep everything on the same side - you can attach stuff under the Propeller Platform, but it might interfere with modules underneath. And you won't be able to rest it on a table, which is kind of goofy.
Slightly off topic .... buttttttttt ... speaking of micro-SD cards. I got one of Nick's alpha boards and realized none of my readers would do microSD, so I went off to Staples yesterday in search of a reader. This is what I found. It is made by SanDisk and it is called "SanDisk Mobile Mate Duo" and describes it self as a "USB reader for microSDHC/Memory Stick Micro (M2) + microSDHC adapter." The price is $9.95 and it works like a charm, both the tiny reader and the uSD to SD adapter holder.
