·Hello has anyone made a flight computer for a rocket. If so please help. My dillemma is the payload bay is too small for a basic stamp board. Can you make a motherboard for a BS2 ot of Stripboard or similar material·so it would fit into 1 in wide 5 in long payload bay.

What do you want the "flight computer" to do? What funtions? Read inputs? Save data? You can always put a BS2 on a protoboard to fit you rocket your dimensions.

Hey no problem. Go to Radio Shack and buy some of the protoboard they offer... I think it's 2x3"

Cut it down it 1" wide, solder on a 24pin IC socket. Pull the stamp off your development board and plug it in the socket. Your components can go on whatever is left of the protoboard. You'll probably run the thing off a 9V battery, or a 4xAAA brick or button cells or.......

P.S. buy a couple protoboards cause the first time you cut one it may not go like you expect :) and if you need one longer, you'll probably have to mail order it.

    Cool project!
