Congratulations to Terry Hitt for being recognized as a Star Contributor!

www.parallax.com/tabid/696/Default.aspx

A well deserved entry!!! Thanks for all you do!

This may/or may not be news to some, but it's been a while since I wandered the Parallax
pages and Bean wasn't there last time I saw that page. :)

    Well done Bean!

I'd not seen that page before, nice to put some names to faces.

I had the same (or at least almost identical) electronics kit when I was a kid, Santa looked very confused when I asked for it!

Hopefully our recognition of certain people doesn't cause anybody to feel excluded. Just like today's sport teams, everybody gets a trophy.

Don't get too excited if you show up on this Star Contributor page because next year we'll start asking them to contribute something back to young innovators (scholarship fund?).

We have a new nominee, too: Brad (BST). If somebody can talk him into sending us some bio and a picture we'd like to name him a Star Contributor.

Do you have to wear that contraption in order to qualify? How many posts to the forums did you have to do before they let you out??

    Congratulations!

My congratulations to Bean and everyone who is honored as a Star Contributor.
This is an elite position that only a handful of people with the world's greatest
intellectual minds can attain. It is very well deserved!

I also failed to see Bean was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Well deserved. And I personally thank all for the effort put forth.

    Yes. Brad is next!

I guess Chip would fit into the Supreme Contributor?

Somebody needs to help us get Brad's nomination formalized. Need photo and bio.

Chip is a Star Contributor - el Supremo - but this page is a special place for all of you, not us. Just spoke with him this evening and he's sorting out a few issues relative to the P2 I/O pin. I'll see if I can extract an audio file from him tomorrow to test out the new Twitter thing I put together for uncensored news releases.

Congrats on being an inductee into the prestigious Parallax Hall of Fame. Do you get to push your palms into wet cement? I wonder if Parallax has hard-copies of these contributors on the wall. I hope they don't keep them in the hallway to the bathrooms! I see mention of over 5000 posts on the forums and checking you have over 6000. Now if you got a cent for every post you'd be able to pay the fine and get out of those stocks. Actually you sort of wonder why the hole for the head is so large in the stocks, do they really put Sontarans in them? (Dr Who).

    Congratulations, and thank you.

Having paid tuition for years in order to learn what I need to know, I really appreciate the value of the free education these forums provide. The generosity of the contributors is remarkable. I hope, over time, to do them justice by paying it forward myself.

Congrad's to "all the star contributors"
If it were not for all your hard work and help the forum would not have such a following !

    Thanks again !
