I have finally gotten around to doing my paperwork for tax's for 2009 and came to the realization that I have a lot of parts in my electronics inventory. My best estimate puts my current part inventory to 106,000 parts. Crazy how quickly things can add up.

mctrivia - great problem to have. Join us at one of the Propeller Expos and contribute to the "junk table". Leave a bit, take a bit.

not really a problem. they all fit in a 2x2x2' box. It is my slow stocking up of parts to make more and better products.

I do hope to make it to an expo but I have figured I would need at least $5,000 to invest in parts to bring enough stock to make back my ticket price and I am currently running with only $200 to spare.

It's very easy to have hundreds of thousands of parts these days especially when surface-mount resistors and capacitors are 5,000/reel and you have at least 20 reels, that already accounts for 100,000 parts! No telling what I've got tied up just in my prototyping workshop, yikes.

Now, 106,000 different parts, that's a different story altogether.
