I just downloaded and installed Microsoft Robotics studio 2008 R2 Express Edition to use with my Basic stamp (and someday my propeller). But I have installed it and now im clueless.·the visual programing dosent really make sense, and none of the other things make sense. I've looked on the microsoft robotics webpages for help using it with the BS2 but i couldn't find anything useful. Does anyone know how to use the BS2 with robotics studio?

I don't think the latest version of MSRS works with Parallax products.

I believe it can but is a real pain in the rear!!!!
This book has some, but not a whole bunch of info on configuring MSRS to work with the BoeBot. It assumes you are using Bluetooth, but can also be set to use serial ports. http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/book.aspx?ID=11308&locale=en-us

Do some shopping around for the book, as I was able to get it for $2.00. Also. Try the MSRS Forums. It sometimes takes a while to get an answer, but they have some good suggestions.

Hope this helps. When I get back to my robot project I can maybe be more help. Had to put it aside due to life happening!!!!

This·type of thing is·the world of "object oriented programming". I've been stung in the past by this because it takes a long time to learn, then I learn it and they come out with a new version of something and change everything around. I wouldn't mind learning things if they would leave it be...

Here is more on object oriented programming...
