Propstick and BS2 communication???

Hi, I have a BS2 homework board and a new propeller propstick kit. I am still learning how to use the BS2 and I'm super confused on how the propeller works, but i was wondering would it be possible to make a quick primitive setup where you·have·a wire connected to the propstick that sends out a HIGH signal·while the BS2 can get it from a IN command, or vice versa?
