I am having PE Kit issues

So this has been my 4th day with the PE Kit, and everything has worked out fine . . . until now. When code is loaded, I will get a correct response for about 30 seconds, then it will just shut off. All I/O ports stop working. So I reload the program back onto the ram, and the I/O will flash once and then die. After about a minute, the computer will not recognize the propeller kit, and I am stuck with nothing to do. After taking everything apart, and re-wiring everything back up, it does the same sequence again, (working for 30 seconds and eventually dying). I can find no help for this and need some advice.
