Need help with Rx and TX

What I need is where I can exchange information wireless between two microcomputers. One is a Prop and the other a BS2. I would like to use the prop to transmit my commands and have tried but have not had too much success. I am using the Parallax 433 wireless rx and tx modules. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

    I would recommend using something like the xBee. This is much simpler than using the 433MHz transceivers and more reliable. It basically looks like a wired serial connection between the two devices. You can use a PC utility to configure them and set them up to initialize as a serial wired connection requiring no further setup on either end.
