Using a screen with the boe-board

Is it possible to use a small lcd screen with boe-board. Not nescessarily a lcd screen but like a small screen, we are making an alarm clock so we were wondering if it would be possible to make a small screen to display the numbers on our alarm clock.

    That can be done but it depends on the screen you choose. Get the specs and link the datasheet if you have a specific device in mind. Don't buy the device before doing your research!

    Look at some of the LCD panels that Parallax sells. They're typical of what's on the market.

    I have Parallax's LCD Terminal Appmod currently on my BOE-board. Actually works out great because it doesn't block the breadboard. Page 2 of the LCD Terminal AppMod Documentation PDF shows a picture of the LCD appmod on a BOE.
