Propeller/SPI/Video

I am a beginner at this Propeller and spin world so I would like some assistance. I am doing a project and want to output a picture to my Nokia 6100 LCD, which I got from Sparkfun.com with its breakout board. A friend suggested I use SPI, Serial Peripheral Inter phase, since it uses 3 wires to communicate. Where can I start learning about SPI to output video onto my LCD?

Thanks,
Mario13

For starters it might be more appropriate to change your title to "Nokia 6100 LCD interface" or something similar. As for outputting video I'm not sure what type of video you are talking about. Is a still picture, graphics image, movie, or what?

Anyway, the Sparkfun site has a whole plethora of information about interfacing your lcd. Is there something specific?

BTW, Welcome to the forum and here's a link to a previous discussion http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=732949

Well first of all thanks for the link it is quite useful, I am sure that will be a great start. As far as the video it is a still picture, I decided that I would start off simple and not complicate my life right of the bat. Once again thanks!
