Novice: need help with Xbee!!!!

Im trying to send the value of a pot with one xbee to anouther but i get these weird numbers in the mix how can i make them go away?

Can't tell you without more information. At the very least, you have to post your source programs as attachments to a message. Use the Post Reply button and the Attachment Manager that shows up when you click on the button. In your message provide a description of how you have things hooked up if that's not documented in your source code.

Your stream of data looks like ascii codes:

That is "0" followed by the ascii codes for carriage return and line feed. Ditto what Mike said.
