    Hi Irv,
Yes, this has been reported... There's a reason for it- but I'll have to see how to make it look like less of a "bug".
At faster rates, the 'scope samples data and then displays the entire sample onscreen, with the trigger at a configurable horizontal position.
At slower rates, the 'scope streams data continually. The newest data on the right gradually moves to the left. On my (old) HP scope, the trigger turns off in this mode- so that's what I did.

    Hi Hanno,

I ran into this problem also. Since I believe that you are saying that the sampling rate is too high for the slower time scales, maybe you could only display every 5th, 10th, 20th, or whatever data point. And trigger on this reduced dataset. I have not been able to get any useful information out of the data streaming as currently displayed.
Great product otherwise. And I only have been using it a few hours.

    Hi Al,
I added the "streaming" mode capability to let you continually see data even at slow timescales. At 100ms/div, it would take 20div*100ms/div=2seconds to take one complete set of samples and show it to you- even worse at 1sec/div. I suppose I could add an option to let you stay in "sample" mode- does that sound right?
That would let you see triggered data at slow timescales, but with very slow refresh rates at those timescales.

    Hi Hanno,
I realize that the refresh would be slow. But I would like to be able to have triggered slower sweep rates. Not being greedy, adding the "sample" mode to the 50 ms/div and 100 ms/div would be enough for my needs/wishes.
I also reported a minor problem in switching trigger sources to Parallax on Monday. They said that they would relay the information to you.
I am new to PropScope so forgive a newbie question - Can I do a delayed sweep after a trigger?
Thank you for the great product and great support.
    Al

    Hi Hanno,
    Sorry for the nudge, but...
Will you be adding the "sample" mode to the slower sweep rates? If so, any timeframe quesstimate?
And does the PropScope have any way to do a delayed sweep after a trigger?
    Thanks,
    Al

    Hi Al,
Yes, I'm working on 1.05. It'll fix some cosmetic bugs, allow trigger on slower rates and output configurable TV to the DAC card.
A "preview" should be done end of next week. Want to help test it?

    Hi Hanno,
I'd be glad to test out at least the slower sweep. Did you get the info from Parallax on the trigger glitch I found?
    And delayed sweep? 1.0x?
    Thanks,
    Al

    Hi Hanno,
How is 1.05 coming? I would be glad to beta test it when ready.
    Thanks, Al

    Hi Al,
You've got mail! Others willing to beta test, please send me a private message... I'll do an open beta next week.

    Hanno,

I only had a few minutes to play with it (105h), but it seems to be playing well. I was just measuring some PWM signals for the Quadcopter. I like the new interface!

The bad news is, I have to pack up everything because of a move. I have had all the Propeller stuff out for as long as I can, but now it's time to pack it. I'll get back in the middle of May as I will have to do two 2000 mile round trips to move my belongings and my hovercrafts to my new location.

    Keep up the great work!

    Jim

Love all the upgrades on 12Blocks and ViewPort also!
