Line Following Sensor

Let's Go!

I am seeking the best line following sensor Parallax offers and would like users' feedback on their experience. My line is white with various colors outside of the white line, not black. Any feedback will be appreciated.

The QTI Line Following AppKit is our line following kit that allows you to use a black or a white line.· There is a wiring diagram and sample code listed at this link:

You might want to consider the TSL1401-DB, which is a one-dimensional vision sensor. I've also used the TCS230-DB (now TCS3200-DB) for line following. What it actually follows is a color edge, not the center of a line.

Can you take a photo of your taped floor and post it here? That might make it easier to evaluate your particular situation.
