interface with MLX90614 using Arduino Board

Hi,

I'm new to sensors and the world of micro-controller. I'm trying to use Arduino board to interface with MLX90614 from parallax. I have read the tutorial using Basic Stamp 2 online. But it doesn't seem like Arduino board allow serial in + out in 1 pin for this sensors.

Have anyone come across this problem or is Arduino not suitable for MLX90614 at all?
