New Magnetic Rotary Encoder find

Hi all, I seen these in this month's issue of EDN (page 53)·and thought someone may find these as interesting as i do. they are AS5215 Automotive·magnetic rotary encoders from austriamicrosystems·with both sine and cosine analog outputs with adjustable output amplitude. they offer 3 free samples on thier website.

Also check out thier 5-axis·AS5011 Hall sensor based smart joystick module.·with I2C 2-wire output

    Also check out Melexis' EVB90316, I've been using this one for a couple of years now to detect wind direction in my weather station.
