Professional Development Board Power Supply

I want to make my Propeller PDB portable. I guess that I could use a 7.2 volt R/C battery with an adapter to power it, but has anyone come up with something better? I do have a Mountain King enclosure on order, so something that would attach to that would be great.

Im using a 6 volt emergency light battery its more compact than 7.2 pack

It wouldn't be too difficult to attach a proto board onto an enclosure that could house the battery.

If you don't want to use an enclosure, you could try buying some standoffs and mount a board to your circuit board and with some hardware you might be able to fasten the battery in place or create a box or lip·to hold the battery in place.

Looks like six "AA" alkaline cells... 9 Volts

Bingo... "AA" times 6 = 9 Vdc

Since I use a wall wart most of the time, this pack will last me for months.
