Hi Irv,
That's a difficult one... The firmware currently uses all 8 of the Propeller's 8 cogs. Are people interested in a separate firmware that would disable the function generator but output a fixed tv signal?

and PropScope, the multi-function USB oscilloscope/function generator/logic analyzer
What sort of signal would you like to see? Here are possibilities:
- just an ntsc signal to look at- ie, a black screen
- screen which continually updates measurements of ch1 and ch2 at a given setting- plug PropScope into TV for display
- screen which has some control from the windows ui- ie, setting background color
- color bars

A simple video signal is coming in v1.05- and yes, making good progress on it, Parallax has started testing builds. A little while longer...

Is the software done to use the propscope and plug it on a TV instead of the computer?
If so, do you have some pictures?
Thanks,
Fred
Yes you can connect a TV to the PropScope- it'll show you a realtime bar graph of the analog measurement as well as actual values.
