Hey, all. I just thought I'd drop in and say hey. My name is Duane, and am a student at a tech school in Anoka MN. After graduation, I plan on finding work, and returning to school for my EE degree. I have been in love with the basic stamp for some time, and now look forward to learning all I can about the propeller. I should be reciving my student kit tuesday, and look forward to diving in, prpvided that my studies allow it..lol

Thankyou, I have been reading threw the sticky's, but havn't read up on the nuts and bolts yet. I will have to take a look threw this weekend if I ever finnish up on my calc review for tuesdays quiz, and fridays test..... What a week...lol

Thanks for the great tips. I am intereted in buying hte new book, but was thinking that it may be better for me to work threw some of the education kit before buying it. Might as well try and lean a bit before diving into the deep end. I'll try and search for the wiki in a few here....

Agreed, I have still yet to solder a single lab in class. At home within my hobbies I have learned of the sweet smell of rosen core soilder... lol

Also as far as microcotroller go, beyong theory we have not touched anythin beyond a few basic pics in lab. The propeller offers much more felxability. Can't wait to dive in!
