Hello every body...wink.gif
Is the ping))) sensor capable of measuring the speed (1 to 3 meter per second) of the moving objects?
assume the object moving toward the sensor.
I'm thinking about indoor navigation system for blind.
Thanks for your time...

The PING))) sensor cannot directly measure the speed of a moving object (using Doppler shifts). What you can do is to repeatedly measure the distance to an object and compare the distances to compute the speed of the object towards or away from the PING))). You would have to scan the area where the object is detected to estimate the bearing to the object over time to compute the velocity of the object (angle and speed). It would be a nice demonstration of principles, but not at all practical.
