CNC? I'm going back to the cranks

I have had a Smithy Midas 1750 CNC for about 10 years now. Granted, it's not a Bridgeport but it's been reliable enough to produce some cool stuff. After installing the CNC upgrade and working with that for a while, I've decided I'm going back to cranks. The type of 1 & 2 off milling and turning I do is just not worth all of the setup and alignment time that is associated to CNC.
Am I crazy?
I know the allure of CNC and I appreciate it for production work and X-Y router tables but does anyone else share this opinion on a bigger mill or lathe?

I do have a CNC router (2.5 axis) but I'd definetly need something a little better for the Mill.
