I just broke out my SayIt module again after some time and every time I try to connect I get this error: "Could not enter contol mode. This operation returned because the timeout period expired"

It has worked without fail before and this is the first time I have had any trouble. What is wrong? And what is the timeout period?

    Dan,

    The Say It module communicates to the GUI via the BASIC Stamp 2; and the timeout is just the amount of time the GUI will wait before it prompts you with the error window if the Say It can not be found. Is this the same error that you encountered the first time; Or what did you mean by again broke it again?

    Sorry for the misunderstanding. What I meant by that was that I just got it out again. I have encountered no such problems before.

    Is there·normally a problem that causes it to·not connect?·There seems to not be that·many options that I can change in the program itself.
