Hi all,
i think this may be mainly aimed at someone at parallax, but can either of the gps modules be converted to use an external antenna instead of the patch antenna, without damaging the module?
· i need to physically remove the patch antenna electrically from the circuit and preferably replace with a small piece of coax to an external antenna. i want to electrically isolate the patch antenna as to not to introduce any stray gps signals into the reciever other than from the coax. has anyone done this?... and worked? would/does parallax support retrofitting thier modules to an external antenna? Please,... purdy please???
