Schematic Testing Software?

Hello everyone! Is there any software that can "test" a schematic?

Basically, i want to be able to open the program and design my schematic then let the program show me how the voltage power will be controlled and how it will flow throughout the circuit. Are there any good software programs for this? I know it might seem like a stupid question, but I am into software programming, not that much hardware. Please let me know.

Google spice. It might do what you want.

I use Spice for that sort of thing. An excellent version is supplied with the Pulsonix PCB software I use.
