Trying to measure voltage values on my prop chip, where do I get the v1 usb osc

My device manager keeps recognizing my version 1 oscope as an "other" and my oscope v1 software (software version 5.1) is not recognizing the oscope at all, so I'm guessing the driver was corrupted at some point in the last month.

Where can I get just the driver to reinstall?

Parallax is not releasing the code however you should be able to ship it back to them it there is a physical problem. Help support should contact you tommorrowish.

Look under the directory tree where the PropScope software was installed. You should find a "firmware.binary" (or similar name file) that you can use the PropTool to program into the board - assuming that the firmware is corrupt. Not finding it could be a sign of the USB chip on the board being fried. Wait a few hours, I am sure Hanno will pop by, or post your question in the PropScope forum.

    "Popping in"....
I do have a USB scope but will have to dig it out- will let you know what it says in a couple hours... There are installers for v4.1 and v5.1 of the software on the Parallax site somewhere- I prefer v4.1- they include drivers, might be worthwhile to install the whole thing.

My USBScope no longer works. I think I have the same issue as Brad. See image for my USB devices, the "USB Serial Converter" aka USBScope, and v4.0 which no longer finds the hardware. I'll alert Jeff from Parallax...
