Amateur radio callsign: G1HSM
In stock: 32,000
On order (being built by Parallax and not yet received in our inventory): 195,032
Future free (after all of our sales orders are filled): 250,000
They could last three months of three years - don't know. EOL is where foresight would be particularly useful, wouldn't it? If we knew how many customers would buy in the future we could order enough to meet their needs. If we don't know we're only taking a guess. When we placed our final orders for wafers we factored in most of the projected needs from our high-volume customers, so I imagine our overstock is plenty.
Now and then we'll still get a call "what, you have EOL'd the SX? How come you didn't tell me?" . . . probably because we didn't have their contact information. Many customers purchase our products through distributors.

I meant the SX28AC/DP-G, those seem to be sold out.
-4,500 in stock (backorders)
94,796 chips in fabrication (probably in test at this date)
91,381 future free (not allocated to orders)
Probably within a week or more the rest will arrive to our inventory. I don't know how long 91,381 chips will last - could be two months or two years. Best thing to do is to place a backorder.

I ordered a handful of the SX28AC/DP-G on 1/07. I received them today, 1/13.
