Hi All:
I just got a new laptop running Windows XP.·It is pretty similar to my old laptop·which ran Traxmaker without any problems.
The problem is when I start up the program on the new machine, it acts weird in that it cannot open some of my old .pcb files. It finds them and then says, "File not found" when I call for it to open.
I know the software is old (it was designed to work on 3.11 OS) but it still works very well. Is there anyone else on this forum that has Traxmaker and had issues with it transferring it and the files to a new computer?
Just for information's sake, I have run this program on four other computers (one was a 486 running Windows 3.11, another was a Pentium with ME, and three others with XP home) to date and the transfers always went without a hitch. But I hit computer number 5 and now I am getting all sorts of glitches, maybe because I forgot to move something like an older library file.
Any suggestions? The software I have came on a DVD disc and it loaded into the new computer without any problems.
