The community has kept me moving ahead, and simply for that I am grateful.

No brain stroke this year. I had 5.

My father had a series of "mini" strokes a couple of years ago. After them he found that the muscle tremour in his hand was reduced, and he could try to do some experimenting again. Sadly the effect wore off again.

Something to do is so important.

    Hi Mike,

I don't normally do medical consults over the internet, and I can assure you that I am *very*skeptical when it comes to pharmaceutical marketing, but if you have had a CVA it means you are at higher risk of further TIAs/strokes.

I would very much hope you are on a number of medications that have been proven to reduce the risk of brain strokes. Some are very inexpensive, and all are available from multiple manufacturers.

PM me if you want to discuss this further.

    Kind regards,

    Dr James Moxham

    Hi Mike,

I am glad you are better. This forum is a good place to keep the gray cells
active, challenged and amused. Besides all that interesting Evil Genius work
people are doing (e.g. Dr_Acula and others) they can also be quite funny and
    often very empathetic.

I have been loving Parallax for many years now, but with the advent of the Propeller
I have been advocating they should get a Nobel Science prize.

With your posting I am now thinking that they also should get the Humanitarian, Peace
as well as the Science prizes...though I am not sure the Peace one means much.devil.gif

You know we have been hearing so much about Intelligent Design in the last few years.
I have often looked at the human body and after mulling over the many design flaws
it has I am not sure they should call it ID maybe more aptly it should be called UID or
    even SD (sadistic).nono.gif

Keep healthy....and wishing you a great year

@Mike: Best wishes for the new year!

The prop is a wonderful way to keep the mind going! (Even when the rest of the body isn't cooperating.)
