roll.gif·Merry Christmas to all also. My Heinz 57 robot is still under construction and gave it a break. It was easily converted to a Christmas decoration ( thanks to the Parallax forum ). Just learning the H bridge and got stuck for a while. Hope Santa was good to the Parallax forum. lol

@ erco: Merry Christmas to you also and your family.

@ Prettybird: it seems that some parts come from Meccano, are you a Meccanoman?

The heinz 57 bot is as described, built from leftovers. A little erector set, Boe Bot wheels and caster, ping, compass, lynxmotion BS2 board, Honeywell photo eye. peizo from broken microwave, wiring from old computers. futaba servos converted to DC motors, and a dual H bridge from an old Rouge robot kit. I like the lynxmotion board for the I/O headers for easy plug and play. Eventually plan to have it run with the ping and Photoeye as a slowdown. Also plan to use a compass and Sony I/R remote or PS2 remote. Curious to see how far I can go with as little external electronics as possable (not counting I/O). The dual H bridge sure eats up I/O. I like erector set alot for building robots. Check out my first robot the Mini Monster Boe bot (completed projects back around September). There is an original boe bot chasses buried in the middle of the framework.
