Hi guys, i have questions on the circuit for the serial comminucation between BS2-sx. Now if i wish to have serial communication between 2 BS2-sx, and i have 4 pin connected each which are RTS,CTS, Tx, Rx pin. Now do i need·to add in resistor when i·connect·2 stamp together?·

You don't necessarily need the RTS/CTS connections unless there are other handshaking concerns

You can use the programming port or any pin. Generally, hook Tx of one chip to Rx of the other through a 220 ohm resistor.

For your first experiment, I'd recommend looking in the editor Helpfile under SEROUT. There is a good discussion and sample connections to get two stamps talking both with and without handshaking.

Serial communication has many variations. The more info you give us, the better we can help.

    Cheers
