Good fun firsts on the boebot?

It will be a group thing with nobody but me knowing what they're doing so I want it to be fun. What programs should I run and use to teach people how the boe works?

"Roaming with the BoeBot" would be a good program for that. People can get a good feeling for IR distance sensing. The program itself uses a lot of the capability of the BoeBot. You can start with that program and dissect it into pieces to experiment with or it can be used as the basis for a complex navigation program for a group project.

It will probably work, I'll look into it and tell you how it goes.

    First program: Blink an LED.

Second program: Roaming with the BOE-Bot. Use the "blink an LED" subroutine to indicate when something is detected.

    Greetings,

Could someone please post a link or some direction for the recently suggested:

    Roaming with the BoeBot

I cannot seem to locate it anywhere. Is it a .bs2 file, or is it a full project?

    Thanks,
    Dominic

Curious. Not one person has heard of the, "Roaming with the BoeBot" yet it is mentioned twice in this short thread?

There's something similar in the "robotics with the boe-bot" book you could check into.
