Thank you, Chip and Parallax

I've worked with a couple of different micro-controllers. One was very powerful but the manual was poorly translated from its native language to English with most of its application notes in the native language and their forums have been dead since 2006. Another has a huge following of professionals and some hobbyists but not nearly as powerful as the Propeller.
I have found Parallax to be a cut above all others. Their customer support is the best. The forums are full of people eager to share their knowledge and help others. And what I find most refreshing is that Parallax deals with what other companies seem to forget, educating people and catering to the hobbyist. I have seen some knockoffs of the Basic Stamp and their manuals may have half a page of documentation on a command where Parallax will ten pages! They care that people learn, and have fun with their products. If I knew of anyone who was beginning to look into the fascinating world of micro-controllers I would not hesitate to refer them the Parallax!
Lastly, having seen Chip at the UPNE I can see that he is the one with the vision to reach the hobbyists and the ones eager to learn. As Parallax goes forward with the Propeller II and all the new products I just want to give a HUGE thank you and keep up the great work!

Not having a few "high and mighty" attack dogs claiming the purity of the forum, and pouring scorn upon a simple question, always helps.

Thanks to all at Parallax!!
I think releasing a book with hands-on labs·for advanced·Pasm would really be·a great thing, for educational purpose. But they have so·much things to do. :P

There is a document that is available from the OBEX that helps understand ASM for the Propeller as well. A fellow member created it and wanted to share with all of those who wanted to learn more about PASM. Here is a link for your convenience, there are a few·docs·out there that try to help with understanding·PASM, perhaps this will help as well.

Graham,
Agreed, the link was to a document to help understand PASM. That was a document a member said helped him a great deal with understanding PASM, so I wanted to share. Sorry if it seemed more confusing than helpful.
