A great control system, probably two seperate PID loops. A Segway-type balancing robot, keeping a ball centered on its flat top table. I guess it's real; I wonder what type of sensor/reference it is using to sense the ball position.

    wouldn't the ball moving over itself create an imbalance which the normal sensors would sense and account for. therefore putting the ball back in the center.
