Mike & the Boyz
With our new twins, I have less time to surf this great forum and the Parallax web site. I usually only do a quick scan of stamp, robotics & sandbox·forums.·I'm thankful this Thanksgiving weekend to have·stumbled across two interesting links today. In case you missed them:
First,·my personal hero·Mike Green has his Prop-powered BoeBot featured as Parallax' project of the week, and listed in the completed projects forum: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=635533
And also Parallax puts faces to the names in their "star contributor" gallery, you can see & read more about Mike, Tracy, Phil, Jeff and all the great helpers we meet online here: http://www.parallax.com/tabid/696/Default.aspx

Don't forget Jessica Uelmen, Parallax's Education co-ordinator. She is a great help with everything to do with teaching with Parallax Products.
Her video explaining bread-boarding is one of the best intros I've seen. It even gives some fun history.
Check it out here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_Q5s9AhCR0
She may be the next Andy Lindsay! (though I hope they keep the old one around ) When the twins are ready to learn - I know they will want to see a woman geek too!
