I am builiding a darkroom controller around a Basic Stamp 2pe motherboard.· As I understand it this uses the BS 2pe chip which is built around the SX48 chip.· According to your announcement this has reached its EOL.· Does this mean the MOBO will shortly become unavailable?· Will there be a similar product using another chip?

    No, absolutely not. We have stocked 15-20 years of SX chips for use in our own products. Read the announcement again, carefully. End of life ONLY pertains to the raw SX chips themselves.

    As a matter of fact, we are about to release some new aluminum extrusions and endcaps for the MoBoStampPE product line. I bet you will want these for your project.

    Actually I was looking for enclosures for the MOBo since I mangled one out of a Radio Shack plastic box. A nice looling enclosure would be great. Thanks for your reply.
