Our Eindhoven Experience @ Elektor Live

Now that I am back and refreshed I thought I'd take the chance to share some of our experiences at Elektor Like Eindhioven
The location was superb, what a great building the Evoluon is, like a flying saucer ready to take off.
It was a great show even though we didn't actually see much of it as most if not all of our time was spent with Parallax.
Parallax, I have to say a big thank-you to you first.
Ken and the girls were so friendly and hospitable it was almost like we were old friends, they had even arranged some lunch for us which was very kind.
The Parallax stand was easily amongst the busiest at the show and it was the same all day long.... That IS a good sign!!!!!
Ken's Propbot was great and drew a large audience when he was demonstrating it and the Propeller.
For someone who says he can't code he's done a pretty impressive job!
I had some time to chat to Ken whilst Baggers was up presenting his game demos.
He was telling me how Chip his illustrious brother is so grounded and level headed, friendly and always willing to help, he could well have been describing himself to me.
He did shock me a little though when he told me how small a part Propeller plays in terms of revenue but how it will be a big part of the future of the company.
We got to meet with Tony Friel from Spinvent in the UK who is a totally unassuming character and was very friendly and happy to talk all things Prop with us.
He's got a great board coming out PropLAB which I think is one of the best boards for getting somebody interested in Propeller and microcontrollers.
(I was fortunate enough to swap some Hybrid PCB's for a PropLAB PCB, thanks Tony )
To view the pictures I took on the day go to www.propgfx.co.uk/photos/main.php?g2_itemId=29
One last thing, I'd like to say a big thank-you to Ken and Parallax for making the trip totally worthwhile.
It was great to meet you guys, it was kind of you to give us all those freebies but most of all for the hand written thank-you note we received.
It's no wonder you are in Sales Ken!
Regards,
Coley

It a Roadstar 8 inch 4:3 portable TV, the quality of the display is fantastic.
I only got them last week, sort of stumbled upon them looking for something else.....
I will see if I can take some more photos and put them up.
