Temp measurement LM34

Hello, I have an LM34 temperature sensor, an adc0831 analog to digital converter, and a bs2. I have connected them as shown in the process control manual, chapter 6, page 183. I would like to run a simple program that just displays the temperature. I am not at all familiar with the adc. Any help or articles or sample code would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

Lots of information available in "Stampworks", too·(download and save it):

Thanks for your reply. I looked at the stampworks but only found information on the ds1620 for temp measurement. I'd just like to know the basic (pun) commands that i need to display temp from the adc. I don't know where to start. I tried to work with the AdcSpanOffset.bs2 that is in the process control pages. It looks like there is another program that it is giving information to. (Stampplot)? that plots the voltages on a graph? As you can tell I'm totally lost. Sorry. There are alot of code lines in this program that I have never seen before. Thanks again for any help.
