Hey there,
For those patiently waiting for Propeller DIP chips, I'm providing an update. Today the chips finally left packaging and headed to testing, which means in a week they'll be shipping from SE Asia to Parallax. This puts their availability right around Thanksgiving, or since we are closed at the end of that week, just around/before December 4th. I don't see why we'd have any problems at this stage. And in the future we don't expect to have this problem again, or at least I should say "we better not have this problem again". Various measures have been added to our process to eliminate a repeat problem. . . but I can still hear Hanno squawking from here so we'll have to show you that we can do this right, else I might have to eat a few chips myself.
And for those in the UK, I found a few rails at our distributor "Active Robots" today. These were sitting on the shelf, ready for purchase.
