Veterans Day

I hope all the Vets young and old can take a day to remember fallen friends/associates, and any sacrifices they had to make.

I also hope we all will take the time to thank those who gave much or all of their selves for our countries cause.

I am a vet, and I give thanks to the one who came before and after me.

P.S. This is not a thread for political debate. Many solders do what they are/were told, and were not the people making the decision of who/where to fight.

Lucky for me I'm not old enough to have been subjected to any of that. I lost (I say that as though I knew them, but I never got the chance) 2 great grandfathers to WWI. Having made it through 2 husbands, my great grandmother had a pretty wicked sense of humour about the whole thing.

Down here we call it remembrance day.

Anyway.. Thanks.
