Has anyone ever tried to read an ORP probe or pH probe with the basic stamp? I wonder if there are any interface IC's available for this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ideally, you want a probe that puts out either an industry-standard analog signal such as 4-20 mA or 0-10 v. Then you can add an a/d converter to your stamp and read the probe signals.

A smarter probe may offer you a serial data output which is very easy to use with the Stamp using the SERIN command.

I've used both and they each work well.

    Cheers,
