Anyone have a Prop DIP chip they want to sell? I need one ASAP!

Hello,
So I ordered my Propeller chips through digi key the other day and received it today. Not going to lie I was pretty excited to get started on playing around with the chip. Unfortunately when i opened the box it turns out I had mistakenly ordered the 44-Pin QFN Chip instead of the DIP version which I was planning to just slot into my breadboards and away we go. So to say the least I am pretty disappointed and honestly this is just the icing on the cake to an already horrible day, so my question is, how can I use it? Can I somehow interface it to a breadboard? or at least bigger pins that i can then run to a bread board?
Thank you!

So as you can see i changed the title of the post and was wondering if anyone had a Propeller DIP chip they would be willing to sell me for around if not slightly above market value. I would need it to get to me asap ideally by next Wednesday (Tuesday would be better). All are sold out on digikey and all the other distributors I usually use and I want to start using it over my reading week. post on the forums or email me your contact info if you have one to spare and some time to run to a ups or fed ex shipping place (or post office lol)
Thank you : )

I hate to say it, but there is not an easy solution to the situation. The QFN chip is pretty hard to do without some prior planning. It can be hand soldered, but would not be my first choice for the first timer. The center pad can be a nightmare to deal with.
I hate to say it, but if it were me (well.....if I was in your situation), I would try and see if I could sell them to someone on the forum, and try to get the DIP version.
Working with the QFN and not having a breakout board is asking to create a huge headache......and will probably just serve to make you that more frustrated.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unless you want to design a breakout board, hand them off (sell them) to someone who needs them.

Leon,
Drag soldering only works if you modify the recommended footprint (extend the pads outward). If using the standard footprint, it is impossible to drag solder a QFN. Ok, maybe not impossible, but I wouldn't recommend it.

IF YOU HAVE A DIP VERSION YOU ARE WILLING TO SELL (I believe that only the long ones (not the square ones) come in DIP which is good because I want that type) IT FOR AROUND $10-15 (american or canadian) and will ship it to me (price I just said doesn't include shipping which i will pay on top of that) so that i receive it before next Wednesday I will gladly do so and then praise you for this act of charity after lol.
Thank you :)
