Basic Stamp n00b question

Hi all.
I'm brand new to all of this.
When I try and run this program on my Penguin

' {$STAMP BS2px}
' {$PBASIC 2.5}
DEBUG "Hello, World!" ' test Message

here is what I get in the Debug Treminal window:

Gotta be something really simple I've got wrong right?

What Baud do you have set for the Debug window? The BS2px does debug at 19200 Baud while all the other BS2 Stamps use 9600 Baud. Try changing the setting to 19200 Baud.
