What are other forum members using to clean pcb's? I am using some clean-core that leaves a bit of rosin residue. I have a bunch of through hole components and I don't like leaving that sticky residue on the board.

High-grade isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush are what I use. Don't use rubbing alcohol: it has too much water in it.

Typically you can find it at Lowes, Home Depot, Do It Best, Ace, etc. Most large hardware stores carry 99%IPA.
