This is all Charlie Dixon's fault. He created such a beautifully documented piece of programming art that even I could understand it[noparse]:)[/noparse]

But... being in Spin, Charlie's object was limited to about 1Ksps... and I wanted more. So, I translated Charlie's object into Pasm and added the rudimentary ability to control the acquisition rate... and it topped out at around 94Ksps. All of the specs seem to indicate that this is pure non-sense.
Is it?

lt's not particularly silly, is it?
The reasonable possibilities seem to be 1) the Specs are understated and the product will actually work fine at 94Ksps. 2) The product will become unreliable and possibly fail due to over-clocking.
I am going to put a post into Linear to see if they would like to comment.
