I made a simular thing for the orginal Z80 experiment board. When you want a DemoBoard stick it on when just the PSU, serial and all available pins free just lift it off

I'd love to have that for the times I want to run some interactive code and could just pop it off when not needed.

I think I'll make a couple to try out... Little on the fence about whether to use RCA jack or mini-phono plug jack for stereo...
Depends. I guess, on whether you want to plug into your home stereo (RCA) or use amplified computer speakers (mini-phono plug)...

I'm pretty sure your MIC circuit will not work correct. My expirience is that the Sigma-Delta ADC works not with the DIP version of the propeller @80 MHz, and definitly not if you have long wires and sockets between the Feedback resistor and the pins.

For the audio out, I would go with a mini-phono jack, because adaptor cables from mini-phono to RCA are fairly common.

How about an additional SD card socket? For me an SD card is the most important device that should be connected to a propeller...

I've had the sigma-delta ADC working OK with a DIL Propeller on one of my own PCBs. The connections were very short, of course.

Yeah, mic circuit is iffy, but I think it might work because of the ground planes...
    I think you're right about the mini-phono.
SD would be nice, but that breaks the all through-hole design. Have to think about that one...

I didn't need the "mic" bits so didn't even bother with all the inductance/capacitance problems that were bound to happen. I did put on some sockets for P0-P7 along with power etc so that a small SD card socket PCB, on 6 pin 0.1 plug, could just plug in.

!!! This is truly uber, Rayman! I will be able to use my GGPP almost as much as my demo board with this!

Just how much do you think this will cost me....?

Are you using PS2 or USB connectors for the keyboard/mouse connectors? USB would be preferable since PS2 connectors are no longer used on keyboards or mice.

The thing that I miss on my demo board is a built-in SD socket, I think that would have made the board indispensable IMO. Looking at your schematic, it does not look like you would have enough room for an SD socket. Also, the price of the board would have a lot to do with an actual purchase decision.

What do you think about adding a few LED's instead of the mic? I find LED's incredibly useful when debugging (if I don't have the memory for TV).

The big SD card slot (This one) is hand solderable, but it takes up so much space, and you can't put any through hole stuff on the other side of the board. I'm also working on a microSD module that will be pretty inexpensive, so that might make it a moot point.

I think there may be just enough room on a 3.8"x2.5" board to fit in a full size SD card holder. I'll look into 4 leds for the remaining pins...

How about adding MIDI TX and RX?
