RFID Card Reader USB

I have a dumb question to·ask. Will the USB version·of the RFID card reader work with Basic Stamps or Propeller, or only with a PC via USB cable ??
I ordered 1 when they were the daily deal and then realized I may have goofed. E-Mailed sales at Parallax but they must not of gotten the E-Mail. I think I know what the answer may be. Thanks for any feedback I may get.
