Today at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy)
http://linuxday.gulch.it/2009/traccia-tecnica.xml
I gave a talk on Propeller, I do not know anyone there has been great,
very great attention to this amazing component.
When I presented some examples,
-microphone to vga
-demo vga
- wav in the SD card
etc, I saw the faces of disbelieving people.
At the end of the presentation made me many questions.

Looks like lunch might have started a little late then for a few people? <G>
ciao,

Then when they understand there are eight 32bit
processors inside that six dollar chip their mouths fly open
That has been my experience when showing the prop
off to people I know that program AVR and PIC chips.
With the shortage of dip props I have become afraid to
show off the prop to people...they keep talking me into
giving them one of mine!

"Where am I? Where am I going? Why am I in a handbasket?"
And I always like to show people what can be done in 32K. (with 15 longs to spare). Linus' demo from Breakpoint.
Can't wait to see what Baggers has for us

JMH
(like spdif - stereo 32khz output) (hss sound system + spdif object)
Thanks for the links, those boards are wonderful!
I love combining the prop with an AVR.
I have used the atmega168 and atmega644p with a prop and
the combination worked great. The prop handling timing chores that required
precision and providing an easy way to do VGA. With 9 processors on
a board things just get easier to do.
