Does anyone know?

I found that parallax uses the following chips from FTDI, but it doesn't say the specific one used in the oscilloscope?

Thanks!

FT232BM, FT245BM, and the new FT232R

I would suspect that they're using the FT232R since that's the current part and what they're using in all new products. Why does it matter?

I emailed FTDI a question about their driver, and they asked that information of me, so hopefully you are correct, as that is the chip I'm going to tell them
