Smart Card programming the easiest way!!!
Hi all,
········ I wanted to read and write to a smart card with a prop or basic stamp as simply as possible. I just wanted to use a card that had only eeprom chip on it, no processor of any type.
After a lot of searching i found a company in OZ that supplied these cards with just eeprom. Withthe card socket it would have been as easy to read and write to as your garden variety eeprom chip!
Trouble is when trying to place an order for a few of these cards they were not interested in my business unless
I was going to buy hundreds of them. Also ,a bit strange but smart cards with eeprom but no microchip are more expensive. I guess that is because the demand for eeprom only cards isn't great.
