Is the serial object limited to 19k2

Hi,
I've been using the full serial object without a problem up to 19k2 for some time, but trying to use it above that and input char's are sometimes missed. Transmitted char's are fine.
What is the max reliable baud rate for this object?
I'm running at 16Mhz.
Thanks
Jon

Do you mean the FullDuplexSerial-object or the simple-serial-object ?
you wrote that you are running at 16 MHz. This is very uncommon. Most common is chrystal frequency 5 MHz and a PLL-factor of 16 = 80MHz
Some boards have a 10MHz chystal and a PLL-facor of 8 to reach 80 MHz
So wich propeller-board are you using ?
How does your setup for the frequency-constants in the SPIN-code look like ?
example of what is most common 5 MHz and PLL-factor 16
some boards have 10 MHz and PLL-factor 8
best thing to do is if you use the Post reply-button
create a ZIP-archive with your complete code by clicking File - Archive - Project ....
and attach this ZIP-file to a posting

Stefan
Dracula is using 38400 and RS232 using MAX chips.
