Curve Trace project for use with Oscilloscope Test Transisotrs and more
Hi guys I have been working on this for a while I plan on adding more functions to this project as I build in more features but I thought I would at least post what I have for now and see if anyone finds it useful.
As posted this circuit will allow you to turn your oscilloscope into a pretty cool curve trace testing device it works great for finding dead or even leaking Transistors, Diodes, Capacitors,
Resistors, SCR's and more.
For anyone following this since I can only post 4 pics at a time here is the basic box being built I have already added the prop chip to the Curve Basic Board I will print circuit board once everyone is caught up with the basics.
P.S if anyone can suggest how to take decent photos I would be greatfull
The schematics and Curve output are posted in the PDF take a look at that I can update that with the drawings the fastest.
The first 2 drawings just show the case with an on off switch and the probe input posts I found the at a surplus store but you can find probe connectors at Radio Shack Also in the last picture it shows the Parallax 4X20LCD with an 8 post terminal block that will be used to test leads as well as prop pin I/O FYI someone built this using the 2X16 LCD witch is just find since we are using it only to show basic part Values like 2UF or 4.7 or 5K stuff like that for now
